APPALACHIAN TRAIL CREWS- 2010 Season
- Appalachian Trail Conservancy
|

Description
Join a volunteer Trail crew and spend a week or more helping to build and protect the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, America's premier long-distance footpath.
No previous trail experience is necessary - just a desire to work hard, live in the backcountry and have a great time among friends.
Minimum age - eighteen years old.
Trail Crews tackle large-scale projects such as trail relocations, rehabilitation and bridge and shelter construction. Projects are planned and completed in cooperation with A.T. maintaining clubs and agency partners such as the National Park Service and the US Forest Service.
The 2010 schedule is now available on our website. www.appalachiantrail.org/crewdetails
If you'd like to apply - click "Register" and complete your profile.
The Appalachian Trail Conservancy is one of the few organizations that currently does not charge an application or participation fee to participate on its Trail Crew Programs. We welcome and rely upon donations to help offset the cost of the crew program. A donation of $35 entitles you to a one-year membership in the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
Contact Alice Davis at adavis@appalachiantrail.org if you have questions.
