PATH maintains 70 miles of the A.T. from Interstate 77 near Bland, Virginia to the South Fork of the Holston River at VA- 670, near Sugar Grove, Virginia. The clubs primary worktrips are held on the 3rd Saturday of the month from March to October. Several members arrive earlier in the week to plan and prepare so the weekend is not the only time to participate. PATH will provide all the tools and saftey equipment needed to work on the trail. Workers will need to bring food and water for lunch on the work day. Depending on where our work is being done, we have arrangements for volunteers to camp at either the Stoney Fork campground on 717 north of Wytheville VA, or the USFS work center in Sugar Grove, VA.
